A species of freshwater fish, Hemibagrus nemurus (Valenciennes), family Bagridae; scaleless, flat-headed, with barbels reaching the anal fin, yellow sides, dark brown back, abundant even in brackish water near river mouths, can reach up to 65 cm in length; also called กดขาว or ชงโลง.
