ชื่อไม้เถาเนื้ออ่อนหลายชนิดหลายสกุล ในวงศ์ Cucurbitaceae ผลกลมขนาดผลมะนาวถึงผลส้มเกลี้ยง สุกสีแดง เมล็ดสีเขียวแก่ มีเยื่อเป็นเมือก ๆ หุ้ม และมีรสขม เช่น ขี้กาแดงหรือกระดึงช้างเผือก ( Trichosanthes tricuspidata Lour.).
