การดักใจเป็นอัศจรรย์ หมายถึง การดักใจทายใจคนได้อย่างน่าอัศจรรย์, เป็นปาฏิหาริย์อย่าง ๑ ในปาฏิหาริย์ ๓ ได้แก่ อิทธิปาฏิหาริย์ อาเทสนาปาฏิหาริย์ และอนุสาสนีปาฏิหาริย์.
(n.) The miraculous ability to read or perceive others' thoughts; refers to the wondrous act of intuitively knowing another's mind. It is one of the three miracles (pāṭihāriya) in Buddhist doctrine: the miracle of psychic power (iddhi-pāṭihāriya), the miracle of mind-reading (ādesanā-pāṭihāriya), and the miracle of instruction (anusāsanī-pāṭihāriya).
