ปฺรับ

เปรียบ, เทียบ

(v.) To compare; to liken.

ทำให้อยู่ในสภาพที่เหมาะหรือดีขึ้น, ทำให้เรียบ, ทำให้เสมอ

(v.) To put into a suitable or improved condition; to smooth; to level.

ลงโทษให้ใช้เงินเพราะทำผิด, ลงโทษให้เป็นแพ้

(v.) To penalize by requiring payment of money for an offence; to penalize so as to be declared the losing party.

โทษทางอาญาสถานหนึ่ง ซึ่งผู้กระทำความผิดต้องชำระเงินตามจำนวนที่ศาลกำหนด หรือตามที่ผู้มีอำนาจเปรียบเทียบได้เปรียบเทียบ.
