(v.) To strike, shoot, or the like in rapid succession, producing a rapid series of sounds; e.g., to ring a bell rapidly (รัวระฆัง), to roll a drum (รัวกลอง), to fire a machine gun in bursts (รัวปืนกล).
อาการที่พูดเร็วจนลิ้นพันกัน ฟังไม่ได้ชัด เรียกว่า พูดลิ้นรัว.
