Name of a small mammal in the family Sciuridae, a small squirrel with brown fur and three dark brown stripes alternating with four lighter brown stripes running along the body from the back to the sides. Lives in tall trees, eats insects and fruits. In Thailand, there are two species: long-eared (Tamiops rodolphii (Milne-Edwards)) and short-eared (T. mcclellandi (Horsfield)); also called 'kralehn'.
